PCV.- The recent discussions about the health care reform promoted by the Obama administration, and the embarrassing episodes in the Congress -like the statement made by senator Joe Wilson, saying that the president was a liar-, have put again the question in the public opinion: if someone opposes the president, ¿is that person racist?
Newspaper around the country show how discrimination and racism -in different levels- still endure among the american people. Two examples: a sheriff candidate suffers the slurs of the Ku Klux Klan and poverty in Indiana hits African Americans and Latinos harder than white people.
